Lola Unlocked!

You have unlocked Lola, resident pugilist, or the Rat Queens world version of it at any rate, who’s worked as second in command of the Palisade Guard. Lola makes Friendship Tokens extremely powerful and effective for the Queens.

Queen Models to Print at Home!

We are incredibly blessed to have had Elena Manzano reach out to us to collaborate on completing her 3D Model set of the Queens. Elena had already completed Dee and Betty, and wanted to help the campaign by making them available for print.

Further, we completed the set, as pictured above, and all sales will be split 50/50 toward the project and to compensate Elena for her amazing work. (She was willing to donate them, but at Talespinner, we believe artists should be fairly and firstly compensated!)

We are charging $10CDN for the Five Queen set and the STL files are currently in process. They will be made available near the end of the campaign! The STL File Add-on is Now Available!


Worth a Print Run?

We are currently considering doing an actual print run as an add-on for the campaign and have reached out to Panda Game Manufacturing for a quote. This was never on our radar as a possibility at all until Elena reached out and built these models for us. We are including a poll in this update, please take a moment to respond, it could be ample motivation for us to make it happen.

We're roughly looking at $35-40 CDN for a 5 pack of the Queens (Hannah, Braga, Dee, Betty and Violet) and likely need to do a run of 1500 units. If there is enough demand, we might hire Elena do model the 3 main Nemeses as well.

Note, the add-on would not be available for the end of this campaign, but in the Pledge Manager when we are moving toward fulfillment. As always, we would keep everyone informed!

Palisade Press + 6 Allies!

The communiy has had five storyline votes so far, and together unlocked five unque characters from the Ally Expansion Pack! We have two more allies to go and even though we have quite a significant gap between our current funding and the single stretch goal ($338,354), we are having some behind the scenes conversations about what we at Talespinner want to do for the backers! So, stay tuned!

We have two more story votes left, and the finale! Make sure to join us over at the Vengeance on Villains community storyline!

We're running down to the just over the final week! These sorts of things are always quietest before the end, but we'll be posting the Vengeance on Villains updates and an announcement for the final day of the campaign, so stay tuned for that!

Madeline Unlocked!

You’ve unlocked Maddie, a bardic talent with a warrior’s soul. Maddie later on became a Rat Queen, and proved herself capable, though naïve. Madeline’s heartfelt music restores the wounds of nearby Queens.

New Pledge Tiers!

I received many, many messages from people who aren't avid gamers, but were inspired by our story and wanted to find a way to contribute. We have created the Support Us Tier, which allows anyone to make their pledge a straight up tip to help us on our way. Feel free to share this far and wide, it is there for those who want want to pitch in without getting a game!



We've also created a new Add-On, Support the Team, for those who want to do so. None of this is required, of course, but now that we have funded the game's production and redeemed the old scampaign, we want to get these awesome team members paid for their volunteered time of hard work. Obsidian Darkness Unlocked!

You have unlocked the Obsidian Darkness, a band of gloomy soft boys who had a short, disastrous stint in Rat Queens Issue #1 but have been resurrected and retconned for the game! Obsidian Darkness allow Queens to take a second Signature or Violence action, at a gold cost.
